What to do:
- Establish, implement, and maintain the QMS in alignment with **ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS 9100**, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary representative for internal and external audits.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure continuous process improvements in accordance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Set and track quality control objectives, including customer return analysis, to enhance production reliability and minimize costs.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts across the site and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
- Oversee the Corrective Action system, ensuring timely resolution and closure of Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
- Plan and conduct training programs related to product quality, reliability, and methodologies such as **Statistical Process Control (SPC)** and **Design of Experiments (DOE)**.
- Develop and lead supplier quality initiatives, ensuring supplier compliance and improvements.
- Regularly engage with customers to meet and exceed their quality objectives.
- Report QMS performance to site-level senior management and participate in customer visits to ensure quality satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Program Management and Sales teams during new customer acquisition and product launches.
- Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead document control functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives on-site and actively support corporate quality improvement programs and certifications.
- Participate in site management teams and corporate initiatives on best practices and quality certifications.
- Ensure effective management of ESD practices and equipment calibration activities.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Plant Manager to support overall business objectives.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with ISO 9000 system implementation and maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years’ experiencein SMT and box build operations within contract manufacturing.
- 5 years of experiencemanaging support staff, budgeting, and utilizing business tools and applications.
- 3 years’ experience with AS9100 or ISO 13485 preferred.
- Certifications: CQM, CQE, and/or ISO Lead Auditor certifications are preferred.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Proficiency in business tools/applications (Email, Excel, MS Word, etc.).
- Familiarity with high-volume PCB assemblyand box build operations.
- Auditing Experience: Experience with internal and third-party auditsand guiding customer visits.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in ITAR and contract manufacturingis highly beneficial.
- ISO 9001 experience is required, with familiarity in ISO 13485 and AS 9100 as an added advantage.
