We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic North American Supply Chain Director / Manager to optimize On-Time In-Full (OTIF) customer delivery performance, proactively manage inventory, and improve cash flow, cost structure, and operational efficiency. This role directly manages the Planning and Scheduling function and serves as a key liaison with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure both operational execution and long-term strategy alignment. The ideal candidate will balance service-level commitments with cost-conscious decision-making to deliver superior customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
- OTIF (On-Time In-Full) Performance: Consistently achieve targeted OTIF metrics by identifying root causes for deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain OTIF tracking and reporting mechanisms to drive accountability and transparency.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to align operational performance with customer commitments and lead times.
- Ensure reliable delivery performance through effective planning and coordination.
- Inventory Control & Optimization: Lead inventory management strategy and execution to balance service levels, cash flow, and inventory turnover.
- Implement industry best practices in inventory planning, leveraging data-driven methods for safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment.
- Utilize ERP systems and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance forecasting accuracy, visibility, and responsiveness to demand variability.
- Customer-Facing Supply Chain Liaison: Represent the supply chain function in strategic customer relationships, including account reviews and operational meetings.
- Provide proactive communication and solutions regarding lead times, order fulfillment, and service expectations.
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with customer operations and supply chain teams.
- Cost Monitoring & Performance: Track, analyze, and report supply chain-related cost metrics, focusing on purchasing and logistics.
- Partner with Purchasing and Logistics to identify cost-saving opportunities, drive operational efficiencies, and strengthen accountability.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and develop U.S. and Mexico-based Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture aligned with company strategy and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using ERP systems and Power BI.
- Proven leadership track record in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 35–45% (including periodic visits to Mexico operations and customer sites).
- Experience supporting Mexico-based operations is a significant plus.
