Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management and design for transportation and natural resource projects.
- Prepare engineering and design documents using computer-aided design software.
- Write and deliver technical specifications, reports, and correspondence for diverse audiences.
- Coordinate with government agencies, client representatives, contractors, and suppliers to gather information and secure approvals.
- Manage internal technical teams, ensuring project goals for scope, timeline, and budget are met.
- Oversee construction management, observation, and administration tasks.
- Prepare construction documents and specifications aligned with project requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in the design of transportation or natural resource projects.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Montana, Idaho, or Washington, or the ability to obtain within six months.
- Strong ability to manage tasks/projects, meet client expectations, and adhere to budget and timeline goals.
- Excellent work ethic with a deep understanding of engineering principles.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective at providing constructive feedback and leadership to support team objectives.
